Our Mission:

Provide free solar power systems to off-grid schools, medical clinics and community centers, in partnership with local churches.

Local relationships define the need;

Project-specific funding unlocks delivery.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

SPIRITUAL SPONSORSHIP

Each project is spiritually sponsored by a local church. The objective is not only to provide solar power, but also to create a platform for testimony, discipleship and ministry through the local church.

  • Significant and consistent power interruption — or a completely off-grid location.

  • A close association or affiliation with a local church.

  • Potential for meaningful community impact, outreach and testimony.

PROJECT SELECTION

Power4Purpose is based in Northglenn, Colorado but global in outreach and mission.

Power4Purpose was created from scratch by our founder, Chad Rathbun, a missionary kid who grew up in Mali, West Africa.

“I cannot be more sure about God’s leading for me to take on this ministry. God has already lined up two solid project opportunities and we’re looking forward to taking God’s light and message to the remotest parts of the world.
